Learn how to set up CloudLibrary on your Kobo account, borrow eBooks from your public library, and send them to your Kobo eReader.
Supported Kobo eReaders
CloudLibrary is supported on Kobo eReaders running Kobo software version 4.38 or later. Kobo Clara BW, Clara Colour, and Libra Colour require version 4.46 or later.
Important: CloudLibrary integration on Kobo eReaders is currently available only for users whose library is located in the United States or Canada. Customers outside these regions will not see CloudLibrary as an available library integration option.
If your library offers CloudLibrary, sign in with your library card and follow your library's instructions to browse, borrow, and manage titles.
For the most current information about CloudLibrary availability and supported libraries, refer to the CloudLibrary Help Center.

Frequently asked questions
Can I connect multiple accounts?
Yes, you can connect up to 5 CloudLibrary accounts to a single Kobo device. However, you cannot connect multiple Kobo devices to the same CloudLibrary account.
Why do I not see CloudLibrary on my Kobo eReader?
CloudLibrary is only available on Kobo eReaders running supported software versions, and for customers whose library is located in the United States or Canada.
Make sure your Kobo is updated to version 4.38 or later (4.46 or later for Kobo Clara BW, Clara Colour, and Libra Colour).
Why can I not find the "Send to Kobo" button for a book?
Not all CloudLibrary titles are eligible for Kobo delivery. If the "Send to Kobo" button does not appear on a title's details page, that title is not currently supported for Kobo.
I sent a book to Kobo, but it is not showing up on my eReader. What should I do?
Make sure your Kobo is connected to Wi-Fi and perform a manual sync. If the title appears in your CloudLibrary account but still does not appear on your Kobo after syncing, contact Kobo Customer Care for assistance.
