As of 1st of April 2022 0:00 JST, Rakuten Point will be calculated based on the eBook price before sales tax, which were previously applied to the price after taxes.*
Through the program, customers earn 1 Rakuten Point for every 100 Yen spent.

Example of revised Rakuten Points calculation:

• Digital book purchase amount 1,300 Yen + taxes (10%) = 1,430 Yen
• Earn 13 Rakuten Points based on the base price of 1,300 Yen
