The partnership between Kobo and LaFeltrinelli has expanded with the addition of IBS and Libraccio. We will be transitioning our current Tolino Web Reader and app experience, as well as our online store to the Kobo platform.
Common questions
My book is missing. What should I do?
If some of your books are missing, you'll need to sideload the content onto your eReader. You can also use Tolino webreader to read your books.
How do I sideload content?
You can follow the steps from Tolino's support site to sideload content.
Will the Tolino App still be available?
Yes, but in order to access your previously purchased content, you'll need to download the new Kobo App.
Sign in with the IBS.it credentials provided in the app login screen to access your previously purchased IBS.it eBooks.
If I've created bookmarks, highlights in my IBS.it eBooks, will the migration retain these?
While your previously purchased IBS.it content will automatically migrate to the Kobo platform, unfortunately any bookmarks, highlights and notes you've added to eBooks will not. However, you can export them from your Tolino eReader by selecting the file named 'notes.txt' and download it to your PC or Mac when you have it connected with a USB cable.
If I use a Tolino shine 1 eReader, will my experience differ?
Yes. The Tolino shine 1 will not transition to the Kobo platform. This means you will not receive the software update prompt and therefore not be able to make purchases at Kobo.com. Your functionality will remain the same as it has been since we stopped supporting this device.
