Accessibility Features

  • Text-to-Speech is available in the European union.
  • Text-to-Speech is only available for books where publisher has chosen to enable this feature, this mean it will appear on select titles.

Activate Text-to-Speech

Enjoy reading with  Read aloud feature. You can adjust the speed and pick the language and voice you like.

  1. Click anywhere on the eBook to access the header menu.
  2. Select the Crop.pngsetting icon at the top right corner.
  3. Choose Read Aloud  

Speech Settings

  1. Click the center of the screen
  2. Select the gear setting icon.png gear icon in the Read aloud control bar
    • Adjust the speech rate: Slide the bar to the left or right
    • Preferred Language: Choose the preferred language 
    • Reading Voice: Choose the preferred Voice

Keyboard Navigation

  • Spacebar - Play/Pause
  • ESC- Exit Read Aloud
  • Left Arrow - Previous sentence
  • Right Arrow-Next Sentence
