Add notes to an eBook that you’re reading and view them later.

Add notes

1. While reading, press and hold your finger on a word in the passage where you'd like to add your note. Two handles will appear under the text.
2. Use the handles to select the word or sentence that you'd like to add the note in.
3. Tap the Add Note icon to add a note to the selected passage.
4. Use the on-screen keyboard to write your note.
5. Tap Save.

If you have a different version of the app, follow the steps below:

1. While reading, press and hold your finger on a word in the passage where you’d like to add your highlight or note, then remove your finger from the screen. Two slider handles will appear on the page.
2. Tap Add a note.
3. Enter your note and tap Add.

View notes

1. Tap the centre of the page to bring up the Reading Menu.
2. The Reading Menu will appear.
3. Tap the Table of Contents icon.
4. Tap Annotations.
5. Tap any highlight or note to view the page it's on.

If you have a different version of the app, follow the steps below:

1. While reading, tap the middle of the screen.
2. Tap the  Note icon at the top of the screen.
3. Tap the note you want to view.

Remove a note

Follow these steps to remove a note you’ve added.

1. Tap the centre of the page to bring up the Reading Menu.
2. Tap the  Table of Contents icon.
3. Tap Annotations.
4. Tap and hold the note you'd like to remove.
5. Tap Delete.
6. Tap Delete.

If you have a different version of the app, follow the steps below:

1. While reading, tap the middle of the screen.
2. Tap the  Note icon at the top of the screen.
3. Tap the  Trash icon beside the note you want to delete.
