You can change a setting on your eReader so that you can turn pages by swiping on the screen only.
While reading on your eReader, you might accidentally touch your eReader's screen and cause the eReader to turn pages unintentionally. To prevent this, you can change the way your eReader turns pages by using the swipe gesture only.
The swipe gesture means you'll need to swipe your finger from one end of the screen to another to turn the page. Learn more about page turn gestures.
To adjust page turn settings:
- While reading, tap the middle of the screen to bring up the Reading Menu.
- Tap the
gear icon at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Swipe right on the screen until you see 'Page 3 of 3' at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Beside 'Page forward and back by', tap Tapping or swiping. You'll see a dropdown menu.
- Tap Swiping only.
- Tap the
close icon at the top-right corner of the screen to resume reading.
