If you've created annotations, such as highlights and notes, you can export your annotations into PDF, HTML, and other formats.
When you create annotations on your eReader or in the Kobo Books app, it will automatically save your annotations to the cloud after you sync your eReader or Kobo Books app.
A few things to know before you get started:
- Exporting markups isn't currently supported.
- The export annotation feature may not work for all books.
- Exported files are stored in your account for 30 days. After 30 days, the exported files will be removed from your account.
- You can only export annotations from books that have been purchased from Kobo or Kobo Plus.
You can export your annotations to these file formats:
- .html
- .txt
- Markdown
Exporting to different file formats gives you flexibility to view your notes on different devices. It also lets you manage your annotations in a way that's most useful for you.
