Overview of the Kobo Plus Free trial
The Kobo Plus free trial allows new users to explore Kobo Plus titles at no cost for a 14‑day period in most regions, including the United States. However, some regions offer a longer 30‑day free trial, such as Canada, Australia, Belgium, and other countries. Trial length may vary depending on your location, and some regions are not eligible for a free trial. For example, residents of Quebec are not eligible. After the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew monthly unless you cancel before the trial period expires.
Payment and Billing Information
- A valid payment method is required to activate the free trial.
- Pre-paid Mastercard and Visa cards are not accepted at this time.
- Temporary payments authorizations may appear for verification purposes but will not result in actual charges.

Activating Kobo Plus free trial
- Sign in to your Kobo account.
- Click Kobo Plus near the top of the screen.

Click Start free trial.
- You'll see Kobo Plus as a checkout item.
- Review your order and click Save and Continue at the bottom of the screen.
Note: If you aren't able to click 'Save and Continue', you'll have to enter your payment method information. -
Review your order details and click Complete Purchase.
You'll be subscribed, and can begin adding Kobo Plus titles to your library.
