Overview of the Kobo Plus Free trial

Eligible new users can try Kobo Plus at no cost with a free trial. Free trial availablity and duration vary by region, and some locations may not be eligible. For example residents of Quebec are not eligible for a free trial. Once the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew monthly unless you cancel before the trial expires.

Payment and Billing Information

A valid payment method is required to activate the free trial.
Pre-paid Mastercard and Visa cards are not accepted at this time.
Temporary payments authorizations may appear for verification purposes but will not result in actual charges.

Depending on where you live, your monthly Kobo Plus subscription price will be different.

Activating Kobo Plus free trial

Sign in to your Kobo account.
Click Kobo Plus near the top of the screen.
Click Start free trial.
You'll see Kobo Plus as a checkout item.
Review your order and click Save and Continue at the bottom of the screen.
Note: If you aren't able to click 'Save and Continue', you'll have to enter your payment method information.
Review your order details and click Complete Purchase.
You'll be subscribed, and can begin adding Kobo Plus titles to your library.
