About the Kobo Desktop app

Kobo Desktop is a free app that lets you read and buy eBooks using your PC or Mac.

Note: Kobo Desktop is not compatible with Kobo Libra Colour, Kobo Clara Colour, or Kobo Clara BW.

Kobo Desktop may not work with customers who are with:

  • Booktopia
  • laFeltrinelli
  • IBS.it
  • libraccio
  • PChome
  • Walmart

We are aware of the issue and working on the solution. In the meanwhile, you can use Kobo Web Reader to read your books online.

 

KoboDesktop lets you:

  • Manage eBooks on your Kobo eReader.
  • Read books you've purchased from Kobo.
  • Shop for books on your computer.
  • Sync your eReader.

Kobo Desktop does not support audiobooks.

  • Download Kobo Desktop at kobosetup.com.
  • Compatibility notes: 
    • Kobo Desktop is not compatible with Linux OS, Windows XP, or Windows Vista.
    • Minimum requirements for Mac users: OSX 10.9 (Mavericks) or later.
