The Kobo Store accepts payments from most major credit cards, debit cards, and online payment options like PayPal (Excluding Brazil).
Depending on where you live, you may see additional payment options available. You can also use Kobo Store Credit to pay for eBooks and audiobooks.

Payment methods for subscriptions
For monthly subscription plans such as Kobo Plus, we currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express iDeal, and PayPal (Excluding Brazil)
Notes for iDeal customers (Netherlands):
- iDeal can now be saved as a default payment method for subscriptions. You'll be charged one Euro cent (0.01 Euros) on your credit card. This charge is used to validate your payment method and will be refunded within 2-3 business days.
- After you check out, you'll receive an email from SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area). The email will have a title similar to "Debit initiated by Rakuten Kobo".
