If you haven't used your Rakuten Kobo account in over three years, it may have been deleted.
Rakuten Kobo is committed to respecting user data and privacy. As a result, we have established a Data Retention Policy for customers that requires accounts with no activity to be deleted after three years. This includes:
- No purchases.
- No connection to the Kobo platform either through WiFi or by connecting to your computer.
If you've recently used your account within the last three years and can't sign in to your account, you can try resetting your Rakuten Kobo's account password.
