You can sign in to your Kobo account, Kobo App, and Kobo eReader using your Apple ID.
Using your Apple ID to sign in to your Kobo account can be convenient if you already have an existing Apple ID, and you don't want to create another new account.
Link your Apple ID account with your Rakuten Kobo account
When you set up your Apple ID with Rakuten Kobo for the first time, you'll be asked if you'd like to hide your email address for privacy reasons. If you choose to hide your email address, your existing Rakuten Kobo account will not be linked to your Apple ID. This means that when you sign in to your Rakuten Kobo account using your Apple ID, you will not see your books and audiobooks.
To link your Rakuten Kobo account to your Apple ID account, and to ensure that you continue to see your Kobo books and audiobooks, select Share My Email during the set up process.
Sign in to your Kobo account using your Apple ID
- Go to Kobo.com.
- Click Sign in at the top of the screen.
- Select Continue with Apple.
- Follow the onscreen steps to sign in to your Rakuten Kobo account with your Apple ID.
