If you have trouble seeing content you recently purchased, you may be signed in to the wrong account. Follow these steps to make sure you’re signed in to the correct account.
To verify that the email address from your purchase receipt is the same email address that’s signed in to your Kobo Books app:
- Go to your Home screen.
- Tap the Profile icon near the top-right of the screen.
- At the top of the menu, you’ll see the Kobo account email address that is signed in to the app.

Verify that the email address that you see is the same as the email receipt.
- If the email matches: You are signed in with the correct account.
- If the email does not match: Sign in with the email address shown on your Kobo receipt.
After you confirmed that you’re signed in to the correct account, try syncing your Kobo Books app again.
